The Space Technology Committee of the German Institute of Navigation (DGON) is the central expert forum for satellite-based navigation, positioning and advanced space technologies. It connects professionals from space agencies, public authorities, industry, academia and research, and promotes professional exchange on current developments and future applications.

The focus is on global and regional satellite navigation systems (GNSS), innovative space technologies and their safe and reliable use across a wide range of application areas. The Committee monitors technological developments, discusses current challenges and contributes to the advancement of navigation, positioning and localization through interdisciplinary exchange.
