The Inertial Sensor Technology Committee of DGON is the expert body for current developments in inertial navigation and sensor systems. It brings together experts from academia, industry, public authorities, as well as user and operator organizations, and promotes scientific and technical exchange.

The focus is on gyroscopes and accelerometers, inertial navigation systems, multisensor systems, and their applications in aviation, space, maritime transport and land transportation. The Committee monitors current developments and supports knowledge transfer between academia, industry and public authorities.
