The Traffic Telematics Committee

The expert committee deals with systems and components of telecommunications and information technology for influencing traffic flows:

  • Possibilities and use of modern communication and information technology as well as optimised navigation systems in road and rail traffic
     
  • Technical approaches to improve the organisation and management of modern road and rail transport and sustainable transport logistics
     
  • Better integration and coordination of the requirements and activities of different modes of transport
     
  • Better exchange between research & development, industrial suppliers and users

In addition, the Traffic Telematics Committee organises and plans the "DGON Navigation Convention"
